Less than a week until Halloween!
October 31st is a day filled with the excitement from the kiddos as they not-so-patiently wait to change into their costumes, hopefulness that you bought enough candy to pass out, laughter as you host pumpkin carving contests, and honestly, just a whole lot of c a n d y.
We love seeing all of the fun and festive displays in our locally loved businesses, too! Many also participate in business trick-or-treat events in town – if you’re going to one, count how many award plaques you spot! 😉
We couldn’t let the opportunity pass to give a shoutout to some incredible businesses. That’s the thing about Locals Love Us – we’re all about the treats, no tricks!
If you’re wondering, “What local businesses can celebrate Halloween with me?”
Look. No. Further.
Party Supplies / Thrift Stores
If you’re doing the last-minute run through the stores to piece together costumes because, like us, the end of October snuck up way too quickly on you, check out your local party supply stores for any remaining goodies they have. Also, thrift stores are great places to hunt for those unique pieces you need to complete your look!
Prepping the kids’ or your own costume takes time, not to mention pumpkin carving and candy prep. Make the night easier with ordering takeout/picking up dinner from these restaurants:
Nanny Goats Cafe
Ready for post-candy consumption
We can hear it now: “Kids, brush your teeth EXTRA long tonight!”
We laugh when dentists hand out small brushes and toothpaste instead of candy, but those are lifesavers following the candy consumption!
The best dentists in town are ready to ensure your kiddos (and yourself 😉 ) have healthy teeth. Here are the Top 3 dentists to schedule an appointment with:
LaGrone & Adcock DDS
Dr Guy Waldron’s Smile Studio
We hope you have a Happy Halloween and enjoy the night of tricks and treats! Don’t forget to share the love with your favorite businesses that you celebrated with by voting for them at localsloveus.com!
