We love Fargo-Moorhead and the people in it, and we love celebrating their businesses! We recognize the hard work and dedication it takes to run a coffeeshop/roofing company/restaurant/hotel/etc., and we’re so thankful that locals like you take the time to vote for them and let us know who you love.
Meeting so many wonderful business owners is one of our favorite parts of LLU, and through our voting system, we also have the opportunity to learn about the charitable services that pour so much back into our community.
In our Services category, we have a list of the locally loved Charitable/Community Services, and we want to take today to highlight a few of them, to applaud them for their work to better Fargo-Moorhead and serve those living in it.
CCRI Inc
Creative Care for Reaching Independence currently supports more than 450 people, each with their own goals, interests, and needs. From 24-hour in-home support to rehabilitative mental health care, their services are as unique as each of the people they serve. Their team members are passionate about fulfilling the mission of enhancing and enriching the lives and learning of people with disabilities.
YWCA Cass Clay
YWCA is on a mission to:
- To be a place for women and children to turn as they escape violence, homelessness, and crisis.
- To provide safety, warmth, and hope to those who need it most.
- To walk alongside each woman, support her as she heals, and remind her of her incredible worth.
- To empower her to transform her life.
- To watch her triumph as she moves from fear to freedom, breaking the cycles of poverty and violence and creating a better life for herself and her family.
Village Family Service Center
The mission of The Village Family Service Center is to strengthen individuals they serve through regional community behavioral health services. They do this while modeling five core values: integrity, excellence, service, communication and stewardship. Today, The Village reaches out to more than 80,000 people every year, and are constantly adapting their services to meet the needs of modern life.
