Lending a Helping Hand in The Quad Cities

We love The Quad Cities and the people in it, and we love celebrating their businesses! We recognize the hard work and dedication it takes to run a coffeeshop/roofing company/restaurant/hotel/etc., and we’re so thankful that locals like you take the time to vote for them and let us know who you love.

Meeting so many wonderful business owners is one of our favorite parts of LLU, and through our voting system, we also have the opportunity to learn about the charitable services that pour so much back into our community.

In our Services category, we have a list of the locally loved Charitable/Community Services, and we want to take today to highlight a few of them, to applaud them for their work to better The Quad Cities and serve those living in it.

Community Health Care Inc

The mission of Community Health Care, Inc. is to provide the communities they serve with excellence in patient-centered medical, dental and behavioral health care that is compassionate, affordable and accessible. CHC offers preventative, acute and chronic care, as well as laboratory, pharmacy, nutrition, and health education services.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Locals love Big Brothers Big Sisters because it is an exceptional organization that provides professionally supported, one-to-one, youth mentoring to children in the 14-county area. Play sports together. Go on a hike. Read books. Eat a pizza with extra anchovies. Or just give some advice and inspiration. Whatever it is you enjoy, odds are you’ll enjoy them even more with your Little—and you’ll be making a life-changing impact.

Rally for Reid Foundation

The Rally for Reid Foundation was started in honor of the bravest boy we’ve ever met, sweet Reid. His bravery, resilience and fight left a huge impact on everyone who knew his story and followed his journey.

And, if you know of an amazing group of people sharing the love in The Quad Cities, let us know by voting for them!
